HORTUS uses a moderated publication model.
This ensures quality, consistency, and reusability of research outputs. The platform does not assume that uploading something should make it public immediately. Instead, contributor workflows guide you through creation, metadata, draft management, upload, moderation, and later dissemination. This protects quality and makes the resulting record more useful to others.
