Expert profile view
Your public profile (Expert profile) typically includes:
- name and affiliation
- biography
- research interests
- expertise areas
- publications
- external links (e.g. ORCID)
Profiles are accessible to other users and may appear in search results.
Expertise and endorsement
HORTUS allows representation of expertise areas.
This enables:
- easier discovery by topic
- matching between researchers
- better filtering in the Experts directory
Depending on implementation:
- expertise may be selectable from controlled vocabularies
- or entered manually
Well-defined expertise improves your visibility in searches.
