Global Search is one of the most important navigation tools in HORTUS.

It performs a cross-entity search across the platform rather than searching only the page you are on. In practical terms, a single query can help you discover resources, project pages, experts, events, news items, and support content. Depending on the interface state, results may also be grouped or categorised by entity type so that you can continue in the correct module instead of repeating the same query several times.

• Use Global Search when you know the topic or name but not the entity type.
• Use it as a routing layer: start broad, then open the matching expert, project, event, or resource page.
• Use module-level filters after the first search pass when you need more precision or need to export a result list.
