HORTUS discovery is modular but interconnected.
A researcher may begin from a general keyword search, a project page, an expert profile, an event listing, or a resource in the Marketplace. The important point is that these are not isolated silos. Projects can aggregate resources and people, experts connect back to projects and publications, events expose participation and discussion, and marketplace records become the aggregated and organized for of multimedia research outcomes that HORTUS users later disseminate or reuse
HORTUS behaves like a family of related interfaces rather than a collection of unrelated screens. Once you understand the recurring logic — top navigation, search, filters, result lists, tabs, right-side actions, and workspace sidebars — you can move between modules quickly and with much less friction.
