Page discussions
Discussions are contextual conversations attached to specific items.
Page discussions appear inside project pages, event pages, resource pages, and document detail views. Their value is contextual memory: a question asked on the object itself is easier for future readers to understand than a detached email. Use page discussions when the content of the message only makes sense in relation to a specific object.
| Discussion CTA | What it does | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Add a comment | Creates a new top-level contribution in the thread. | Starts a contextual conversation visible to all relevant readers. |
| Reply | Creates a nested response to an existing comment. | Preserves conversational structure and makes follow-up easier to read. |
| Like / react | Adds a lightweight endorsement to a comment or post. | Shows attention without forcing a full written answer. |
| Edit or delete own contribution | Changes or removes a message where permitted. | Lets users correct mistakes or remove outdated text. |
